Position Openings

  • Assembler-Value Added Center (formerly Altek's Paint Dept.)
    The general daily responsibilities of the Assember include setting up and executing any number of assembly functions (i.e. fastening and bonding) consistent with Altek's Quality Standards. Will follow pre-existing Standard Work Instructions as well as establish new ones per Altek format. Also, evaluate and trouble shoot issues and training others on assembly processes. Will often work with others to plan and achieve goals set by Supervisors and Managers. High School Diploma or GED required, as well as 3 yrs. assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates need to have excellent manual dexterity, be detail oriented, able to work with various individuals and departments in a team environment and have a quality conscious attitude and pride of ownership in designated responsibilities.
