Position Openings

  • CNC Lathe/Mill Machine Operator
    Responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, beginner set-ups of established processes and meeting cycle times of those processes in the machine shop. Operator must be able to meet standards set forth in our AS9102/ISO metrics plan concerning quality, cost and delivery. Should have knowledge of, and be responsible for supporting lean manufacturing principles and teamwork throughout the company. Act as a positive role model in accordance with Altek's desired behaviors. Work with a sense of urgency to promote on time delivery and adhere to the goals and expectations as defined by management.
  • Production Finisher
    Responsible for setting up and executing assembly functions (insert installation, fastening, bonding and spot welding, part marking, masking, sanding, measuring) consistent with Altek's Quality Standards. Follow pre-existing Standard Work Instructions as well as establish new ones per Altek format. Also, evaluate and trouble shoot issues and training of others on Department processes. And, will work in a team environment to plan and achieve goals set by Supervisors and Managers. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED and 3 yrs. experience working in a like position in a manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will possess manual dexterity, be able to work standing for full shift, read and understand assembly drawings, and operate an assortment of small hand tools.
    The Painter is responsible for preparing paints and painting all daily orders. Knows how to select appropriate paint or mix paints. Operates various types of paint guns and equipment. Must be able to read and understand paint specifications and apply them. Must be able to read and understand bill of materials (BOM’s). Maintain a neat and clean work environment. HS Diploma/GED and 2 years painting experience in an industrial setting required. Must be familiar with MIL-SPEC and BAC Standards.
  • Machinist Journeyman
    Minimum 10 years experience as a Machinist; AAS Degree or Machining Certification and High School Degree or GED required. Experience with equipment common to automated machining environment (Lathes & Mills); Able to read/interpret blueprints; Knowledge of shop specific machines/controls (Mazak/Fanuc/Fadal – Mill and Lathe) - Click the link below to apply and/or to read the complete job description.
