WAREHOUSE WORKER - DRIVER

Salary Range $16.75 to $19 Hourly

Responsible for pulling, preparing, and labeling all daily orders. Ensures that all orders pulled, match the exact quantity, lot number and are from the correct location as indicated on the pick-list. Provides shipping assistance as needed. Responsible for moving product from one location to another as needed. Maintains a neat and clean work environment. Transports and delivers local customer orders. Ensures loads are stacked or palletized in accordance with prescribed storage methods, considering such factors as size, weight, quantity and safety. Ensures that all shipments are correctly labeled, packed, or created. Checks all orders against documentation to verify box count and quantity. Picks up local will calls in the surrounding area. Responsible for general maintenance of company vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Computer literate

• Basic mathematical skills

• One year or longer, prior experience driving vehicles that are 1 ½ tons or larger

• Able to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements

• Fork lift driving experience preferred

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License

• No traffic violations in the past 3 years

• Be an active participant and supporter of continuous improvement  

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

• Ability to simultaneously navigate and manage multiple programs
