The Quality inspectors are responsible for closely adhering to work instructions and related industry standards to carry out measurements and inspections in order to ensure both customer and internal requirements for product have been met. Inspectors must also ensure that product determined to be non-conforming to requirements is effectively prevented from unintended use. Promotes teamwork through their behavior, acting in accordance with Altek's Policies and adhering to the goals and expectations as defined by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to work effectively with others
Computer literate; able to use MS suite (specifically Word and Excel)
Ability to accurately read and use basic measuring tools
Ability to follow standard work instructions, where applicable
Must be able to interpret customer requirements, where applicable
General understand of manufacturing processes, such as molding and machining
Some experience in manufacturing required
High School Diploma or GED
