CNC Lathe Machinist
$25 to $30 Hourly
Liberty Lake, WA
Responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, Set-ups of prototype and established processes. Responsible for meeting cycle times of those processes in the machine shop. Should have knowledge of, and be responsible for supporting lean manufacturing principles and teamwork throughout the company. Act as a positive role model in accordance with Altek's desired behaviors. Work with a sense of urgency to promote on time delivery and adhere to the goals and expectations as defined by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
CNC Machining Certificate preferred
Minimum of 7+ years in CNC Lathe setup and machining
Knowledge and skills to pre-stage raw material, perform set-up on proven and prototype parts, conduct tool changes, run product and make tool off-sets.
Knowledge of blue print reading and a working knowledge of Geometric tolerancing and calculating
Knowledge of mathematical formulas needed to calculate product dimensioning
Knowledge and skill with all portable measuring devices used in the production processes here at Altek
Must be able to read work instructions, quality documents, and other pertinent written material.
Must have a reasonably complete set of personal tools to perform setups
CNC Lathe Set Up Operator
$22 to $25 Hourly
Liberty Lake, WA

Production Finisher
$17.25 to $19.25 Hourly
Liberty Lake, WA
The Production Finisher is responsible for setting up and executing assembly functions such as insert installation, fastening, bonding and spot welding, part marking, masking, sanding, measuring consistent with Altek’s Quality Standards. This role follows a pre-existing Standard Work Instructions as well new instructions as established by the company. Work is done in a modestly fast paced, fun team environment with the goal of creating products to not only meet but exceed our customer’s needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of manufacturing experience a Plus
High School Diploma or GED
Manual dexterity
Ability to read and understand work instructions and assembly drawings
Ability to work with various individuals and departments in a team environment
Takes pride in and ownership of assigned responsibilities with a focus on quality
Ability to stand for full shift
Be an active participant and supporter of continuous improvement
QA Supervisor
$25-$35 Hourly, DOE
Liberty Lake, WA
The QA Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the Machine Shop Quality personnel and optimizing resources to achieve quality and delivery metrics as per BPM. The QA Supervisor is also responsible for supporting lean manufacturing principles and supervising with a sense of urgency to promote on-time delivery. Promotes teamwork through their behavior, acting in accordance with Altek's Policies and adhering to the goals and expectations as defined by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of five years’ experience in Quality Assurance roles
Experience with AS9100 standard
Experience with AS9102 First Article
Working knowledge of ISO 9001
Strong understanding of GD&T
CMM programming experience
Excellent documentation skills
Understanding of machine shop, assembly and manufacturing functions
Ability to accurately read drawings (aerospace/military)
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills (Microsoft Suite)
