ALTEK COMMUNITY INVESTMENT &
THE AL MARZETTA FOUNDATION
Through Altek and The Al Marzetta Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit named after Altek’s founder, we are committed to making a meaningful social impact. We support a diverse range of organizations that serve vulnerable populations. By partnering with mission-driven organizations, we help create opportunities for these groups to thrive.
Our support extends to children and youth-focused organizations, the healthcare sector, hunger and housing initiatives, veterans and first responders, animal welfare and science education. Alongside these core partnerships, we continue to support various other deserving local and national organizations that align with our mission of giving back and building stronger communities.
See below for several Community Spotlights and the phenomenal work they do to make our world a better place.

Community Spotlight: 2BU Youth Ranch
Nestled in the scenic Foothills of Mt. Spokane, 2BU Youth Ranch offers at-risk youth a powerful opportunity to grow, heal, and thrive. Through hands-on experiences and meaningful mentorship, participants are guided to build self-confidence, develop life skills, and embrace personal responsibility.

At the heart of the program is a unique partnership between each youth and a horse. Under the steady guidance of a dedicated leader, participants take on daily ranch responsibilities, such as cleaning stalls, maintaining water tanks, and caring for their horse. These shared tasks help build trust, accountability, and a deep sense of accomplishment.

As youth bond with their horse through grooming and care, they naturally develop empathy, patience, and emotional resilience. Eventually, they gain the confidence to ride, symbolizing the progress they’ve made both in the arena and in life.

Altek and The Al Marzetta Foundation are proud to support 2BU Youth Ranch and its mission to bring healing and hope to vulnerable youth in our community.
