The Assembly/Production worker is responsible for setting up and executing assembly functions such as insert installation, fastening, bonding and spot welding, part marking, masking, sanding, measuring consistent with Altek’s Quality Standards.  This role follows a pre-existing Standard Work Instructions as well new instructions as established by the company. Work is done in a modestly fast paced, fun team environment with the goal of creating products to not only meet but exceed our customer’s needs. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of manufacturing experience a Plus

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Manual dexterity

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and assembly drawings

  • Ability to work with various individuals and departments in a team environment

  • Takes pride in and ownership of assigned responsibilities with a focus on quality

  • Ability to stand for full shift

  • Be an active participant and supporter of continuous improvement
