Manufacturing Supervisor

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible supervising and overseeing the Paint Shop, for cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize improvement opportunities, plan New Product Introductions (NPIs), and optimize workflows, space, and staffing. Responsibilities include managing personnel, scheduling and labor planning to maximize staff utilization and ensure alignment with customer demand; overseeing production performance to ensure targets for PPH and yield are met; reporting daily performance metrics; addressing BOM issues; and actively participating in staffing by evaluating candidates for both technical and cultural fit. The role also involves supporting team development by providing coaching, performance feedback, and recognition in partnership with team leads; acting in accordance with Altek's policies; and meeting the goals and expectations defined by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED

Experience working with an ERP system, or other comparable programs

Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment

Demonstrated leadership skills and experience

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma (preferred)

Proficient in computer applications, with excellent reading, verbal communication, math, and writing abilities

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting

Self-driven with a strong sense of initiative

Capable of providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment
CMM Programmer/Inspector
$25-$35 Hourly, DOE

The CMM Programmer/Inspector is responsible for programming and operating CMM (PC-DMIS) systems to perform accurate inspections, including conducting inspections using the surface plate, completing AS9102 First Article (FA) forms, and performing both in-process and final inspections to verify dimensions, cosmetic specifications, part counts, and packaging to ensure adherence to quality standards. Additionally, the role involves establishing and documenting quality assurance methods and processes, participating in MRB meetings to support quality improvements and resolve issues, promoting teamwork through behavior, acting in accordance with Altek's policies, and adhering to the goals and expectations defined by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED
-
5 years’ experience in programming/operating CMMs and performing inspection in aerospace and/or military/defense manufacturing environment

Must have experience with AS9102 first article form
-
Ability to inspect on the surface plate and use all types of inspection equipment
-
Strong metrology, blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
-
Proficient in the use of optical comparator, surface plates, height gages, drop gages, micrometer, and other precision equipment
-
Familiarity with surface finishes
-
Must be able to work effectively with others in a team environment

Computer literate (Word and Excel)

Exhibits good problem-solving skills
CNC Mill Machinist - Swing Shift

The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, meeting cycle times, promoting on time delivery through their performance efforts, demonstrating knowledge and application of lean manufacturing, promoting teamwork through their behavior, acting in accordance with Altek's Policies and adhering to the goals and expectations as defined by management. Position is for Swing Shift, which consists of four 10-hour shifts, paid breaks and a $1/hr shift differential.

QUALIFICATIONS
