Al Marzetta founded the corporation on February 24, 1976, guided by a clear vision and a deep commitment to innovation, integrity, and excellence. Over the course of more than four decades, Altek was shaped into a respected leader in its industry. 

In 2020, Al made the intentional decision to pass the torch to the second generation of leadership. He entrusted his family and the company’s senior management team—many of whom had worked by his side for years—with the responsibility of preserving and building upon the values that had been instilled. This transition marked a new chapter for the company, grounded in continuity and driven by a shared commitment to Altek’s enduring mission and vision.

Since then, under the guidance of his successors, the company has continued to grow and evolve while staying true to its principles: innovation, quality, teamwork, and customer focus.
